Description

Macro object for file selection by the file I/O-Addon.

You can "navigate" by multiple drop down of the path infield. File selection field has the value list of the containing files.

  • Optional "by library" or "by dialog".
  • Cache for recent selected path and filenames.
  • Plausibility check and check for existence of the path.
  • Exclude and filter list for certain file extensions.
  • Tested on PC, for Mac prepared.

Macro object only. Only for GDL developers.

ToDo:

  • Test on Mac.
  • Check existence of selected filename
  • Test, if CUSTOM is necessary

Wünsche / Wishes:

  • Transfer plausibility check to Master-GDL script to check in 2D/3D environment as well.
  • Return fullpath. Path+Name.

Known Bugs:

  • none left to fix.
